It is our honor and great pleasure to host the IUPAC International Conference on Advanced Polymeric Materials: Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Polymer Society of Korea (PSK), which will be held on October 4 - 7, 2016, at ICC Jeju, Jeju, Korea. This conference will be an attractive event with 5 plenary and more than 200 invited lectures by renowned speakers from all over the world. It will be an open forum for participants engaged in polymer synthesis, polymer physics, polymeric materials and polymer engineering.

The conference will be held in Jeju island, the largest island in Korea, which was granted UNESCO World Heritage site status because of its unique and beautiful natural scenery. Beautiful beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony, and the mild weather makes Jeju an even more ideal tourist destination. We believe that all the participants can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery as well as the scientific programs by attending IUPAC-PSK40. As the organizing committee chair and the president of the Polymer Society of Korea, we wholeheartedly invite all of you to come and enjoy this conference, and your participation will make the conference more valuable and successful.
