<p class="MsoNormal">The committee would like to announce a call for nominations for a number of awards proudly administered by the RACI Polymer Division. Nominations are being sought (as per the attached guidelines) for the following awards, which will be
announced at MACRO2018 in Cairns, 2018.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>The Batteard-Jordan Australian Polymer Medal</u></b><u>:</u> The highest award of the Polymer Division, is awarded for outstanding achievement in Polymer Science in Australia. (Closing date for nomination 1<sup>st</sup> September,

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>The David Sangster Polymer Science and Technology Achievement Award:</u></b>
<span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">Outstanding Australian mid-career polymer scientist (Closing date for nomination 1<sup>st</sup> September, 2017)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">The Bruce Guise Award:</span></u></b><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-GB"> A</span> distinguished Australasian who has made a major contribution to industrial research in polymer science
and/or technology. It is intended that a recipient will have spent a substantial part of their career in industry in Australia and/or New Zealand, and they must be a resident of one of these countries at the time of receiving the Award. (Closing date for nomination

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>The O’Donnell Young Scientist Prize:</u></b> Awarded to an outstanding PhD student to visit an overseas institution for at least 3 weeks to perform research towards their PhD.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Please note the closing dates for nomination of the first three awards have been slightly modified from previous years (as discussed and approved at the recent general meeting at the RACI National Congress). The nomination process is detailed
